How foreclosure sales work in Henderson County

Foreclosure auctions in Henderson County are set by state law rather than by each lender. Texas Property Code §51.002 puts non-judicial trustee sales on the first Tuesday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the area designated by the Henderson County Commissioners Court in the Henderson County seat.

Notices must be filed with the Henderson County Clerk and posted at least 21 days before the first-Tuesday sale.
