How foreclosure sales work in Angelina County
In Texas, most home foreclosures are non-judicial. A trustee named in the deed of trust sells the property at a public auction, and under Texas Property Code §51.002 those sales happen on the first Tuesday of the month between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., in an area of the courthouse in the Angelina County seat chosen by the Angelina County Commissioners Court.
Notices must be filed with the Angelina County Clerk and posted at least 21 days before the first-Tuesday sale.
