County requests: if you include an email address when you request a county, we use it only to reply about that request.
We use one strictly necessary, HttpOnly sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. The dashboard saves your filters and watchlist in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because the only cookie is strictly necessary for signing in, no cookie banner is needed.
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no local storage, does not fingerprint you and does not track you across sites. It only records aggregate data such as the page, referrer, browser type, country and load time. If a page has a technical error, your browser sends us the error message and page path (never your email, account details or form contents) so we can fix it.
To run your account, bill your subscription, send service emails (verification, receipts, alerts and digests you choose), provide support, secure the service and meet legal and tax obligations.
Cloudflare (hosting, database, security), Stripe (payments and sales tax), and Resend (email delivery). They process data for us under their own privacy and security terms. We do not sell personal information.
Property data comes from public county records. We show the property address, sale facts and appraisal values; we do not publish owner names, phone numbers, mailing addresses or skip-tracing data.
We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time under Account → Delete account (cancel any subscription in Manage billing first); this immediately removes your account, saved filters, watchlist, sessions and sign-in tokens, and we email you a confirmation. You can also ask us to delete your account and personal data, email [email protected] from your account email; we will delete it within 30 days, except billing and tax records we must keep by law (Stripe keeps its own records).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or a copy of it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example under Texas, California or other state privacy laws), you may have additional rights; we will honor applicable requests and you will not be treated differently for making one. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed and two-factor authentication is available.
AuctionEmber is not for anyone under 18.
