About New Jersey sheriff sales
New Jersey foreclosures are judicial. After a final judgment in Superior Court, the county sheriff advertises the sale for four weeks and auctions the property. Sales are often adjourned. The owner can redeem until the 10-day objection period after the sale ends.
Unpaid property taxes are handled through municipal tax lien certificate sales rather than property auctions.
Our New Jersey data comes from county sheriffs' published sale listings. It does not cover every county yet; more coming. New to auctions? Read the investor FAQ.
