About Indiana sheriff sales

Indiana mortgage foreclosures are judicial (IC 32-30-10). After the court enters a decree, the county sheriff advertises the sale in a newspaper three times and holds it at least 30 days after the first notice (IC 32-29-7-3). The owner can redeem up to the sale, but there is generally no redemption period after it.

Unpaid property taxes are handled through county tax certificate sales rather than these property auctions.

Our Indiana data comes from county sheriffs' published sale lists. It does not cover every county yet; more coming. New to auctions? Read the investor FAQ.
