About Delaware sheriff sales
Delaware foreclosures are judicial. After the Superior Court enters judgment, the county sheriff advertises and sells the property at public auction, and the court must confirm the sale. Unpaid county and town taxes are collected through sheriff monition sales, which carry a 60-day redemption period after confirmation (9 Del. C. 8729).
Our Delaware data comes from the New Castle, Kent and Sussex sheriffs' published sale lists; more coming. New to auctions? Read the investor FAQ.
